About the Awards
For 34 years the Arts & Business Awards have highlighted the best examples of how business and the arts come together to transform communities.
They are open to any business, any size and anywhere in England that has partnered with a cultural organisation to achieve business objectives such as branding, sponsorship, digital, volunteering, a long-term collaboration and corporate responsibility.
Previous winners have included Bloomberg, BMW, BP, Deutsche Bank, edding (UK) Ltd, EY, HSBC, JTI, Liberty Stadium, Port of Tilbury, Rolls-Royce, Sky Arts, Travelex, UBS and Yorkshire Bank.
Individuals that work in a voluntary capacity ensuring their community’s cultural landscape remain vibrant for future generations are also celebrated.
The Awards are there to inspire other businesses to see the value in engaging with the arts. Our shortlist and winners set industry standards of excellence in the field of arts and business engagement and receive public recognition for their work through the media, government and both sectors. We promote them across all media channels and also through our media partners including Classic FM, The Telegraph and The Guardian.
Over the years, we have been grateful to our partners and category sponsors especially at our 34th Arts & Business Awards which were held in partnership for the first time with Jaguar Land Rover. Previous category sponsors have included BP, Prudential, Jaguar Land Rover, Lloyd’s, JTI, British Council, Old Mutual, Ballymore, EDF Energy and Unilever.
They are judged by experts from across the country– so just entering gets your brand or arts organisations noticed by the industry.
The ceremony itself has been held in some of the most amazing venues throughout London, including the V&A, Barbican, National Theatre, Hayward Gallery, Museum of London, the LSO St Luke’s and the new Central St Martin’s Arts University in Kings Cross.
There are many powerful ways that business and culture work together. These stories offer a blueprint for what can be achieved.
