Thank you to...

Deutsche Bank, Hornby PLC, Samsung, and Sennheiser were among the top business names to be awarded for their collaborations with the arts.

Our 35th Arts & Business Awards were held in partnership with Jaguar Land Rover, and were sponsored by BP, Goodman Derrick LLP, Eversheds, The Daily Telegraph and Classic FM.

Presented by Classic FM broadcaster, Margherita Taylor, the ceremony was attended by over 400 leaders in business and the arts and saw performances from violinist Jennifer Pike and pianist Peter Limonov, vocalist Natalie Williams and her pianist Phil Peskett, and a remarkable collaboration between jazz ensemble, Brass Jaw and Alpha-Ville artist, Alba G Corral.

The Goodman Award was presented to Time Out founder Tony Elliot for his outstanding contribution to the operation and success of an arts organisation in a voluntary capacity.

What they said...

"We must always celebrate the remarkable insight and energy of businesses engaging and inspiring the arts across England. These businesses do not receive the recognition or the plaudits they deserve. The arts are in a much richer place due to the long term commitment and support of business and we believe these collaborations can continue to go from strength to strength. This year’s entries were incredibly strong and the winners are superb examples of how business and the arts can work well together for the good of both."
Jonathan Tuchner, Acting Director, Arts & Business

"We are a nation steeped in new ideas and I ask you all to embrace creativity, innovation and above all embrace the arts in all its forms as this to me is the very foundation of new ideas and new ways."
Ian Callum RDI, Design Director, Jaguar Cars

"The winners of these awards are innovative partnerships that are not only inspiring cultural success, but unlocking the huge economic potential of the UK’s arts and culture sectors too. These winning partnerships are shining examples of the success that arts and business collaborations can bring to projects across the country."
The Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP
Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and Minister for Equalities

"I'm delighted to congratulate the winners of the arts and business awards. The variety of events and projects supported across the country demonstrates how fruitful such partnerships can be. The Mallard came to Locomotion in my constituency and I can vouch for the value to local communities too."
Helen Goodman MP
Shadow Minister of State for Culture, Media and Sport
